Oliver and Lilli

Wag Atlanta has been the backdrop for an unlikely love story.  Two doggy day care campers met in what can only be described as kismet.

Oliver loved being the young prince of the palace.  He received lots of attention from our team members, because he did not get along with ANY other dogs.   We felt bad that he didn’t get to participate in any play groups, but it could not be helped.

Lilli loved hanging out, but needed a lot of encouragement to run and play.  Her eyes often looked sad and lonely, like something was missing.

But that soon changed.

They first met through a fence, and we were all astounded that Oliver did not try to intimidate Lilli, but instead wooed her with a tilt of his head and a blink of those big puppy eyes.   After being completely convinced of their match, we let them hang out ‘in person’. They sniffed and they frolicked and they played.  It was love.

Little Oliver is head over paws for the more mature and three-times-his-size lady.  He even whines for her while watching their video! We love seeing them come in each day excited to see each other, pining after one another until they get to play. Both look so happy and that brings us SO much joy!
